- 08/5/2014 Training on Stakeholder analysis and Needs Assessment within the Tempus “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” - (ESFIDIP) project
On May 6-8, Khazar University hosted a training on Stakeholder analysis and Needs Assessment within the Tempus “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” - (ESFIDIP) project. The project aims to improve access for students with disabilities into HEIs of Azerbaijan in line with the best EU practices and policies, supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The project involves European partner institutions - Graz University (Austria), Macedonia University (Greece), Lodz University (Poland), and European Human Consultancy (the Netherlands); and local partner institutions: Khazar University (coordinator), Azerbaijan State Economic University, Sumgayit State University, Lankaran State University, Ganja State University, Nakhchivan State University, and Union of Disabled People Organizations.( Davud Rehimli)

Geneva, 31 March 2014 – Today the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities opens its 11th session (31 March - 11 April 2014) in which it will review Sweden, Azerbaijan and Costa Rica, adopt the list of issues on Mexico and hold public readings of its draft General Comments on Article 12 (equal recognition before the law) and Article 9 (accessibility).
